What is My Initial WAM/GLUE Username and Password?

If you applied for a Workstations at Maryland (WAM) or Glue computer account before the Summer of 2003, the initial user name and password was selected when you applied for the account using the Register program. If you applied for the WAM/Glue account during the Summer of 2003 or later, the initial user name and password were selected while you used the new Office of Information (OIT) Welcome procedure for applying for accounts. When you apply for accounts using this tool, the initial WAM/Glue user name and password will match the Directory ID and password.

For those who registered for a WAM/Glue account using the Register program you can change your password if you remember it in the Resetting your Password documentation. If you do not remember your password please contact the OIT Help Desk and they will reset the password for you.

For those of you who registered for a WAM/Glue account using the OIT Welcome procedure, you can change your password by using the Password Management page. If you do not remember your password and did not set up Security Questions to help identify yourself to the system, contact the OIT Help Desk.
