To unsubscribe yourself from a Course mail list, simply send mail with
the unsubscribe command to the list management address. If you know
the name of the list, you can unsubscribe yourself by sending an e-mail to
the administrative address:
majordomo@coursemail.umd.edu
with no subject and the unsubscribe command in the body:
unsubscribe list_name email_address
where list_name is the name of the list you're subscribed to, and
email_address is the e-mail address which you are subscribed
under.
The class instructor can also unsubscribe you from the list, so if you have any
problems following this procedure, you can contact them to get off the list.
