SIS stands for Student Information System. It is one of the
applications that runs on the
MVS (Production CICS) System. It is used to look up student
records.
It is used by thousands of people on campus, many of whom may
use the system only sporadically. It is accessed from the
CP-ONE menu on the MVS system.
