SAM stands for Student Aid Management. It is one of the
applications that runs on the
MVS (Production CICS) System. It is used to keep track of
student loans, grants, and scholarships. It was formerly
known as FIN.
It is used primarily by the bursar's office. There are
approximately 100 users, most of whom use it on a regular
basis. It is accessed from the CP-ONE menu on the MVS system.
