Looking Up the MAC Address in Windows 2000 and XP

First, click on Start and Choose Run.

Second, type cmd into the text box.

Third, at the prompt type ipconfig /all and hit Enter. (Note: there is a space between ipconfig and the forward slash.)

Forth, locate your ethernet adapter description. Under description, you will see the category labled Physical Address..... This is your MAC address that you will use when the registration page prompts you for it. NOTE: the MAC address is alphanumeric, and consists of 12 characters.
