Granting Designate Privileges

What are Designate Privileges?

If you would like someone else to be able to set up meetings for you and answer meeting proposals sent to you by others, you can make someone else your Designate. You may have as many Designates as you wish.

How To Grant Designate Privileges

  1. Click on the Tools icon.

  2. A list will appear, select Edit Access Rights.

  3. Type the name of the person you would like to make your designate in the Find field. Click the Find button.

  4. The person's name will appear in the list below. Select the name and click the Edit Access Rights button.
  5. The Access Rights for the person you selected will appear. Click the Customize button under the Designate category.

  6. Several radio buttons will appear. Use these button to adjust designate access and click the OK button to save your changes. To abandon your changes, click Cancel.
