Everyone enrolled in classes at, or employed by the University of Maryland
has an @umd.edu mail alias. This alias is simply a convenient
email address that will deliver mail at another location; it is not a
mail account.
In most cases, users with an @umd.edu alias will elect to have
mail delivered to an account on one of the University's mail servers, such
as TerpConnect
and
Mail@umd.
In order to set or change the address where @umd.edu alias
delivers mail,
students will need to visit Testudo; university
faculty or staff needs to visit
ARES.
