-
Continue to expand the directory tree to the desired level.
-
Click in the selection box next to the directory you want to restore. A check mark
will appear in the selection box. You may continue to expand the directory once it
has been selected. You will notice that a check mark appears next to each sub-folder
within the selected folder. To see files within a given folder, click on the folder
icon next to the folder name. This lists files only, not files and sub-folders. To
see the list of sub-folders, expand the directory by clicking on the "+" symbol.
-
Once a group of files has been selected in this way, you may selectively exclude
files or sub-folders for restore by clicking on the selection box to remove the
check mark.
-
Click Restore. The Restore Destination window displays.
-
Select whether to restore the file to the original location or to specify a new
location. If specifying a new location, enter the information for the new
destination directory.
-
Click Restore. The Restore Task List window displays the restore
processing status. The restore procedure may take a few minutes to allow time for
the appropriate tape to be located and read.
When the restore procedure is complete, a "Detailed Status Report" will be given,
listing the bytes transferred, the number of objects restored, and the number of
objects that failed to restore.
