The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will be upgrading the Mail@umd
e-mail system on October 6, 2007. This upgrade will require a
service outage, scheduled for 4-8 a.m. on October 6th, during which
time some users will not be able to access their accounts to send or read
e-mail. No incoming e-mail will be lost during the outage.
The upgrade is intended to increase storage capacity on the server.
We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause you, but
hope that the system improvements will contribute to your continued
success.
