On Sunday morning, January 14, 2007, in order to accommodate facilities
work being performed in the OIT Data Center, the Mail@umd e-mail system will
be removed from service for several short periods of time between 9 a.m. and
noon. Each outage will last approximately 10 minutes.
During each e-mail service outage, it will not be possible to access
personal mailboxes, including message archives. This includes access via
webmail and e-mail clients using IMAP or POP. No messages will be lost as a
result of these service outages.

8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday during Winter Session.
