The University uses Laser Print Cost Recovery (LPCR) for printing. It is a fee-based printing system for campus that is password accessible. Follow these steps in order to change your LPCR account password from its initial value:

  1. Use Firefox or SeaMonkey to visit the URL https://bank.umd.edu/cgi-bin/teller
  2. Login with your current print account information (given out at the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Help Desk).
  3. Once you have logged in, your current account information will be displayed:
    Account Information Screen
  4. Click the Change Password button
  5. Type your current and new passwords in the boxes shown

If you have lost or forgotten your print account password, please bring your current University ID card to the OIT Help Desk in person. A consultant can reset your password immediately.
