Changing Printers

This is how you can select a printer in Deans:

                 Main Menu

                    m -> Read or Send Mail
                    a -> ADVISE
                    f -> Create/Manipulate Files
                    l -> Lookup Services
                    u -> Utilities
                    d -> Documentation
                    ! -> Use Operating System
                    ? -> help
                    q -> exit to Operating System

                       Enter Selection [_]

Press u for Utilities on the main menu

                Utilities
                    
                    p -> Change Password
                    m -> Change File Access Status
                    s -> Administrative Services
                    ? -> help
                    q -> exit to Main Menu


                    Enter Selection [_]


Press s for Administrative Services

   Administrative Services
                    
                    p -> Select DEANS/ADVISE Printer
                    e -> Select DEANS/ADVISE Editor
                    ! -> Use Operating System
                    ? -> help
                    q -> exit to Utilities
                    
                       Enter Selection [_]
                    

Press p for Select Deans/Advise Printer

Now highlight the right printer and press q for quit.

If your arrow keys don't work try typing: setenv TERM vt100 at the Unix prompt. Most of the time this command would resolve the problem and sometimes it doesn't. If this command does not work try our How To Trouble-shoot Terminal Type Problems web page.
