To troubleshoot any Administration Resource
Enterprise Services (ARES)
login problems, first check the following:

Cookies need to be enabled for the browser. (This can be done
by checking the browser's Preferences or
Options.)

Java and JavaScripting needs to be enabled.
(This can be done
by checking the browser's Preferences or
Options.)
-
Make sure you can login by using your Directory ID or U ID and Directory
Password).

Install the University of Maryland certificate authority, if asked.
If the steps listed above do not resolve the problem, call
the Office of Information Technology
(OIT) Help Desk.
