Go to ARES
webpage. Click on the Login link and log in by using your
Directory ID or U ID and Directory Password.

Once you have logged in successfully, click the
Continue button to return to the main ARES webpage.
- On the list of items on the left, click on Payroll and
Human Services. A new list of items will appear: from that
list, click on Display/Update Personal Data.
- A new webpage will appear. Scroll down until you
find the PRIMARY E-MAIL ADDRESS** field. Enter in the box the
email address where you would like to receive mail. If
you want to use your Mail@umd email address as your primary mail address,
make sure the email address ends with "@mail.umd.edu". For example, if your
Mail@umd username is example, you would enter your email
address as example@mail.umd.edu.

While you are updating this page, it is suggested that you review
the other contact information on this page for accuracy and make any
needed changes. (NOTE: A few fields can only be changed by
contacting your departmental business office.)

To save your changes, scroll down to the bottom of the webpage and
click on the Update button.
- Click on the ARES button.

Click on Logout .
