To connect to TerpConnect using integrated WebDAV in Mac OS
X:
In the Finder, click on the Go menu and then select
Connect to Server...
- In the Server Address: field, enter the URL for The WebDAV
server:
- For your home folder:
https://dav.terpconnect.umd.edu/homes/<your Directory
ID>
- For your pub folder:
https://dav.terpconnect.umd.edu/pub/<your Directory
ID>
- Example:
https://dav.terpconnect.umd.edu/homes/jdoe
- Click Connect.
A WebDAV File System Authentication window will appear. In
the Name
field, type your Directory ID. In the Password field, type your
Directory password. Click OK.
A network drive icon with the same name as your Directory ID will
appear
on your Desktop. To open it, double-click it. You may now upload
and download files to this folder as you would a normal folder on
your computer.
